Co-op

Built for one to four.

Solo is a puzzle. A party is a pact.

  • Your board, your call.

Every player owns one grid and fights the boss in parallel. Nobody can touch your build.

  • Draft the boss together.

One shared row of encounters. Everyone claims a different one, then fights it alone.

  • Win or lose as a party.

The run is scored on ten shared nemesis fights. Six wins and the whole party takes it.

The Rescue

Nobody stays down.

Each player drafts a different boss and fights it on their own board. Clear yours while a teammate falls, and you can be sent to finish their fight with your surviving units.

Two players. Two different bosses.

You cleared your boss. Your teammate fell to a different one.

Two teammates down and you're the last one standing? You take their fights one after another, until every boss is cleared or one beats you.

The Forge

Runes don't attach. They project.

The tray on the right projects across two rows. The tray below projects up two columns. Park a unit in the crossfire and it catches both.

Drag a rune onto the tray on the right (rows) or the tray below (columns). Runes in the way slide over, just like the in-game tray. Drop a rune squarely on a matching one to forge it. Drag a unit anywhere on the grid, or drag a rune off the board to remove it. Watch the green projection path and unit effects update as you drag. Hover or tap a placed rune to inspect its lanes. On normal 2×2+ units, 0.5× means one lane intersects and means both do. Runic and size-1 units stay at full effect.

  • Forge by matching

Drop a rune onto a matching one of the same tier and they forge into the next tier. T1 → T4.

  • Across every tribe

Runes project across tribe lines. Position your units to share the effects you need.

  • Keyword carriers

Inferno carries Burn, Toxicity carries Venom. Stack the family, scale the tick.

The Round

One round, four beats. Do it ten times.

Shop, fight a boss, shop again, fight a player. Every round.

  1. 1

    Shop 1

Buy units and runes. Place them, level up, ready up.

  2. 2

    Boss

Claim a boss from the shared row, then everyone fights their pick at once. Win it for gold, XP, and that boss's signature reward.

  3. 3

    Shop 2

Pick a destination: tribe shops, keyword shops, Runic, or the Finds.

  4. 4

    Nemesis

Fight another player's ghost board. This one goes on the team record.

The Tribes

Seven tribes. Seven ways to break a board.

Mix for flexibility. Commit to a tribe for the big spikes.

The Codex

Hundreds of units. Dozens of bosses. Real numbers.

Every card, rune, Forge Core and boss, with abilities resolved to the numbers you'll see in play.
