Giant
- 800.65aSmash reduces the target's tier by 1 for the listed duration, scaling its stats down by the standard per-tier factor.
- 800.65bReapplying Smash adds its duration to the existing one. It never stacks a second tier reduction.
- 800.65cCurrent Vitality is preserved as a fraction across the tier change, so a Smashed unit does not gain or lose relative health when the reduction applies or expires.
- 800.65dSmash ignores status immunity. Relentless blocks every other stat reduction, but it does not stop a Smash.
- 800.65eAn ordinary activation Smash is hoisted to the front of the activation lane alongside Crush, so the hit that carries it lands against the reduced stats. Both count as armor setup; a Smash simply takes Armor down through its tier reduction rather than directly.
- 800.65fSmash requires an authored duration; a card with no duration does nothing.
- 800.65gSmash does nothing to a tier-1 unit. There is no tier below 1 to drop to, so the application is refused outright rather than banked.
